Columbus Yachts has announced that their 32 metre superyacht project designed in collaboration with Marco Casali of Too Design, will be exclusively previewed at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, starting today.
The main concept of the superyacht is freedom, states the shipyard. This breaks down into several categories; firstly the ‘freedom of cruising at your preferred speed.’ The superyacht offers the possibility of long cruises at 12 knots with low emission and consumption, as well as fast journeys of more than 20 knots.
The second freedom concept comes in the form of ‘freedom of living and organising wide, flat spaces.’ The heights of the yacht have been reduced by removing the upper deck and transforming the huge free sundeck, offering a longer and wider hull. As well as improved stability and seakeeping, this means the yacht offers wider planes for the arrangement, which can be fully customised by the client.
The third freedom comes in the ‘freedom of feeling’, found in the huge glass surfaces as well as the open transparent beach area, and finally, the ‘freedom of being unique’, with each Liberty customisable in layout, exterior and interior design.
This inaugural vessel will be the first in range of fast trawlers from 25 to 38 metres.
