We have been hard at work on our flagship design, the Le Breton SIG80 . The result is even more beautiful than the initial concept drawings, and we have added an extra layer of detail to the cockpit and interior layout. The objective of the SIG80 is to combine outstanding performance with true luxury. The speed potential of a well designed 80ft catamaran is enormous. With one important caveat: it must be light. Every additional kilo creates a speed penalty. By specifying modern composite materials in the hulls, rig and joinery, Le Breton Yachts has created a yacht that will outperform anything currently on the market, while providing a vast saloon, five cabins, four heads and crew quarters for three, including a small mess.
The SIG80 has a number of unique features beyond its elegant lines. Sailing the boat will be exciting yet effortless and hugely enjoyable. Hydraulic systems will obviate the need for rope sheets and winches for most sailing manoeuvres, increasing safety and reducing sailing complexity. The steering positions provide the helmsman with 360 degree vision. Like a monohull’s helm station, the twin wheels are placed in a convivial cockpit, where the helmsman can be fully engaged with his or her guests. For all its luxury, the SIG80 will still be a “driver’s” boat.
The accommodation layout provides an owner’s hull to starboard, with a private owner’s apartment aft and cabins for children or close friends forward. The design offers an optional cockpit entry to the owner’s aft cabin for additional privacy and practicality. In the port hull, there are two double en-suite guest cabins aft and a galley/crew mess and a twin cabin for the crew forward. Naturally, a SIG80 can be customised to precisely meet a client’s requirements – we look forward to hearing from you and helping to realise your dream yacht. SIG45 Sport – Read on to learn more about our promotional pricing
Check out the latest addition to our line – the SIG45 Sport. The SIG45 Sport is designed to appeal to sailors looking for amazing performance with no-frills comfort. This new model will easily reach speeds into the mid-20s (kts) and will be a joy to sail. The SIG45 Sport boasts exactly the same outstanding naval architecture as the existing SIG45GT. As with the SIG45GT, the new model will have a carbon fibre structure, with glass hull skins. This light, stiff structure is an essential foundation for a performance yacht.
The SIG45 Sport will feature a raceboat-style interior which will be lighter than that of the SIG45GT. The interior will feature the same three cabin, two head layout, but the joinery will be simplified. For example, it will feature zipper doors and cuddies, instead of drawers and doors. Sail lockers and lazarettes will not be painted, but will feature a lightweight clear coat epoxy protective coating.
The SIG45 Sport will feature a slightly shorter non-rotating carbon rig and boom. As a result of the reduced mast height, sail area is reduced to 80m2 and 35m2 for the main and jib respectively. This will slightly reduce loads on deck hardware, allowing us to lighter weight componentry. Performance will be stellar relative to all other production sailing yachts currently on the market.
The SIG45 Sport have 1.4m waterline clearance at the main beam, extremely easily driven hulls, and an astonishingly smooth motion at sea. The combination of adjustable high-aspect daggerboards, and slightly oversized rudders will provide fantastic control in a range of conditions.
The sail-away price of the SIG45 Sport will be €625.000, including sails and electronics. We are offering the first four clients for the SIG45 the extraordinary price of €575.000. Don’t miss this unique opportunity – you will regret it.
