Optimist Nation’s Trophy – Julia Mellers takes Bronze

The 26 International Vila de Palamós Optimist Trophy has come to an end with a day ol light SW wind, 5 to 6 knots. All races completed one race and a second got underway but the wind drop forced the Race Committtee to abandon the race.

Deike Bornemann of Germany was the winner of the Palamos Optimist Nation’s Trophy which was contested by 500+ entries. Second was Jaime Benthem Muniz of Spain and third Julia Mellers of Chichester YC, with Jaakko Vauhkonen of Finland fourth with the same points. Fifth was Eduard Ferrer of Spain and sixth Gabriele Centrone of Italy.
