Hello and welcome back to Bodrum, Turkey for day three of the Partisan of Yacthing Regatta. The event has moved venue for this year’s third edition and established its new home at Bodrum’s Milta Marina – a perfect venue for sailing events. The regatta attracts teams who are passionate about yacht racing – and the eight Russian teams feature a world-class line up of sailors.

Today marks the half way stage of the regatta, and every point counts in the leaderboard line-up. Teams were eager to get out and face the challenges of the race track.

The event format of two offshore and seven inshore races tests teams across all styles of racing. Consistency across what will be a wide range of weather conditions, maintaining boat handling and speed are crucial. Consistency on an ever changing race track is demanding – and against an impressive calibre of sailors. Teams feature many of Russia’s elite sailors – from the world of match racing, Olympic sailing, Volvo Ocean race and many of the world’s premier yachting events.
