More than 95,000 bookings have been made for the Amercia’s Cup World Series, Portsmouth event.
Free tickets to the Waterside Festival Arena have now sold out for the Saturday and Sunday but there are still free tickets available on both the Thursday 23 July and Friday 24 July.
The official Fanzone Arena, the paid-for ticketed space in the Race Village on Southsea Common is close to being sold out.
These tickets provide the chance for fans to see the sailors close up, learn about the racing, how the America’s Cup works including the technology and its 164 year old history and the technology.
Alongside the on-the-water action there will be live music, air displays, cool bars, food zones and exhibitors.
British supporters can also support home team Ben Ainslie Racing, competing on home waters for the first time.
Once the sailing finishes the evening festivities start with three nights of live entertainment on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights including performances from McBusted, Carly Rae Jepsen and Spandau Ballet and the South Coast Proms featuring the Massed bands of her Majesty’s Royal Marines.
British music legends Wet Wet Wet have joined the line-up for the live music festival on Saturday, 25 July, alongside Spandau Ballet, McBusted and Carly Rae Jepsen, with adult tickets costing £48.50 and family concessions available.

Trophy designers sought
Young Hampshire and Isle of Wight residents (aged 5 to 16 years old) are invited to create the official commemorative trophies for this summer’s prestigious event.
The winning design must reflect the ‘creativity, power and significance’ of the event, which takes place in Portsmouth from 23-26 July this year.
The ‘Victory Trophies’, named in recognition of Portsmouth’s esteemed maritime and Naval history, will be presented on ‘Super Sunday’ (26 July) to all the America’s Cup teams competing in the America’s Cup World Series, Portsmouth.
