After having spent 5 days in the Azores, as many beaches explored and analyzed, and successful interactions with the locals, it is time for the R4WO crew to leave. Direction: the Bermudas, second witness island of the expedition.
The departure is planned for early tomorrow morning.
On the program for this second leg: a lot of wind, some swell and many waves. Because of a strong active weather front, with winds up to 40-45 knots, Stève Ravussin decided to slightly modify the route initially planned to sail more south. This will allow the ship to avoid the highest waves and the strongest winds. No doubt though, the second part of the crossing of the Atlantic will be sporty.
