RS200 class sailors to enter Weymouth Regatta

In the run up to the Volvo Noble Marine RS200 National Championships, the RS200 class sailors are planning to enter Weymouth Regatta ‘en masse’ to get some valuable sea sailing practise before the championship.

Weymouth Regatta, on 11th and 12th July is hosted by the Combined Yacht Clubs of Weymouth, with the dinghy classes managed by Castle Cove Sailing Club.

Organiser Richard Bowers commented “we are delighted that the RS200 class has chosen our regatta for their sea practice – they are one of the most competitive racing classes and we look forward to welcoming them and seeing them in action”.RS200 class sailors to enter Weymouth Regatta

The regatta is limited to 120 boats, at the time of writing there were already 77 entries, so competitors are urged to enter promptly to secure a place.
