Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show for global launch of Pulse 600

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will host the world launch of the compact and covetable Corsair Pulse 600 trimaran – the perfect family day sailing and racing boat – represented in Australia by the award-winning dealership, Multihull Central.

“We are thrilled and proud to have the world launch of the new Corsair Pulse 600 trailer trimaran,” says Brent Vaughan, Managing Director at Multihull Central, distributors of Seawind Catamarans, Outremer Catamarans and Aquila Power Catamarans.

“While there are thousands of Corsairs around the world and in particular in the USA, the factory decided that Sanctuary Cove was the best location to launch this new design.”

As Brent explains, the new, and smallest, addition to the Corsair fleet is the perfect family day sailing and racing boat, ideal for honing skills and thrills. “Plus the Corsair Pulse is designed for camper cruising behind your car or 4WD, so you don’t need months or years to go cruising when you can tow your cruising boat behind your car!”

Featuring lightweight carbon reinforced construction, this boat will get your pulse racing in even the lightest of winds. The Pulse 600 is a sports boat that is about pure fun – designed for conveniently easy rigging and setup so you can quickly unfold the floats, launch and get out on the water. With modern reverse bows and high volume floats, even the most performance oriented sailors have plenty to get hooked on with the smallest in the Corsair fleet.

Versatility is a key feature of the boat and the forward area provides enough storage and cover for day sailing or weekend adventures or can simply be left empty for go-fast racing.

The Corsair Pulse 600 is portable and low maintenance. It boasts an open transom with self-draining cockpit, composite rudder and dagger-boards, large waterproof storage forward of the mast and weatherproof, lock-up cabin.

Its composite boat cradle converts to beach trolley or trailer cradle and, built to international standards, the Corsair Pulse 600 comes complete with international factory warranty.

“You can sail single handed or with a crew of three and it folds to stow easily on a trolley or trailer, so it’s very versatile,” continues Brent. “The Pulse is a one design, featuring a square top mainsail, self-tacking jib and furling spinnaker. You can also add a small outboard if you wish. You also have the choice of colours for the front deck and back beam, so they are striking to see on the water and will undoubtedly stand out.”

This is a boat the global sailing community has been waiting for, compact and affordable at $49,000. Owners will join the growing Corsair community with over 2,000 boats launched, and countless hours of fun, excitement and adventure on the water still to come.

“With three boats due to arrive in Australia in the coming months, we look forward to some micro fleets popping up around the country,” adds Brent.
