While the rest of the competitors took a day off, the SL16 multihull fleet played catch-up on day 4 of the Youth Worlds in Langkawi, Malaysia.
France’s Louis Flament and Charles Dorange sailed in the morning’s yellow fleet and again proved too good for the rest of the field. They have now won all eight of their flight races.
Shaun Conner and Sophie Renouf of Australia take second place, three points behind the French pair, with Tamryn Lindsay and William McKenzie of New Zealand in third place.
Britain’s Jack Butters and James King (4,4,3,2) are 6th.
All classes will race again on Saturday.
