BWPS Flinders Islet Race

Saturday’s Audi Centre Sydney BWPS Flinders Islet Race, run by the CYCA, laid on some great sailing conditions with a sunny day and a building nor’easter, giving the fleet a fine run south.

The return trip had the fleet punching into a breeze that at times gusted up to 25 knots off Cronulla in the late afternoon. David Griffith’s Whisper – with Grant Simmer aboard – was the Line Honours winner, crossing the Watson Bay finishing line at about 7.30pm.

The Bow Caddy team was out on Sydney Harbour for the race start.
