Setsail Back Sea Int Regatta

Excellent start for the 2017 Romanian sailing race season at the Setsail Back Sea International Regatta which took place on the 20 and 21st of May. Excellent wind conditions, 10-25 knots, powered the three inshore races demanding both strategy and sailing skills and the challenging offshore race.

The regatta offered two days of spectacular racing in a 36-strong fleet, including modern and classic boats racing under ORC, Farr40, Bavaria 42, Grand Soleil 42 R and First 40.7.

After the two intense days of competition the proud winners were announced at the awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon: Simina at A class, Hope at B class and Pelican at C class.
