This diverse fleet will share the same start line for the 17-nautical-mile race, commencing at North Head, tracing along the North Shore beaches to Torbay, and concluding with a return to North Head through the Rangitoto Channel.
Aucklanders and visitors alike are in for a treat as this spectacle unfolds against the backdrop of Auckland’s iconic Harbour. Spectators are invited to gather at prime viewing spots along the shore to witness the splendour of these sailing marvels.
The PIC Harbour Classic serves as an excellent reason for Aucklanders to embrace and enjoy their magnificent harbour, whether by sea or land. Adding to the experience, participating boats will be moored at Jellicoe/North Wharf over the weekend of the 8th and 9th of March.
This event is not only a celebration of maritime excellence but also a testament to the rich sailing culture that thrives in the local community.
