The biennial Rolex Swan Cup is organised by the YCCS in collaboration with Title sponsor Rolex and Nautor Swan. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the three-way partnership.
Registration for the 22nd edition of the Rolex Swan Cup officially opens today with the publication of the Notice of Race online here.
Opening with a Welcome Cocktail on the evening of 16th September, five days of racing will follow in the unique setting of the La Maddalena archipelago, through 21st September. The event will see an international fleet showcasing the Swan range, either Rating and One Design. The attending fleet will be divided into several classes including the ClubSwan 43 and the ClubSwan 28 one-designs, both due to be launched this year and taking part in the event for the first time.
The Rolex Swan Cup is a key event on the YCCS sporting calendar and internationally, attracting an impressive fleet of more than 100 yachts to Porto Cervo every two years, and characterised by a unique family spirit. From its first edition in 1980 to the present day, it has traced the evolution of the Nautor Swan yard’s yachts, with its entire history showcased at the Rolex Swan Cup. Some of the earliest models can be seen sailing alongside recently launched yachts.
Registration for the Rolex Swan Cup is open until 10th August 2024. Full details can be found in the Notice of Race, including the Entry Form.
