Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2024 | Jamie Bolingbroke Interview
We spoke to Jamie Bolingbroke, skipper of Richard Matthews’ 12mR Crusader about the challenges and joys of sailing and maintaining this British 1987 America’s Cup boat. It seems very apposite that Crusader was racing in Saint-Tropez on the same day that Team INEOS won the Louis Vuitton Cup and a place in the America’s Cup final, just west of here in Barcelona.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2024 | Au Revoir
Sadly, it’s ‘au revoir’ to Les Voiles de Saint Tropez from the BCM team. We’ve had a wonderful week here, as this festival of sailing really is everything it’s cracked up to be. More content from Les Voiles still to come – interviews, stills and video – once we’re back in Sydney. Merci beaucoup, Saint-Tropez!
Australian Olympic gold medallists Will Ryan and Tom Burton stepped in for Kyle Langford and Morgan Larson on board HM King Frederik’s chartered TP52 Nanoq for Les Voiles, the latter pair being unavailable. Will and Tom describe the unique sailing venue that is St Tropez with its start line deep in the bay and the mercurial sea breezes that characterise this area of coastline.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2024 | MIchael Wilson Interview – Cape 31 Class
There were five Cape 31s racing at Les Voiles de St Tropez in the Moderns Class, including Michael Wilson’s Shotgunn.
